Nowadays, Instagram is the most common thing. We all have an Instagram account. The number of Instagram users is growing every day, but it's still limited to certain types of creators, such as photographers and bloggers. If you no longer wish to use Instagram and want to delete your account, follow these steps.

To delete your Instagram account, follow these steps:

1. From a computer or mobile browser, go to instagram and log in to your account. Unfortunately, the Instagram app does not allow you to delete your account.

2. Tap the profile icon: in the bottom right corner, tap the profile logo.
3. Tap the three bars Tap the three bars at the top, right in the corner.
4. Toggle the following options A settings option can be found at the bottom of the page. It should be tapped.
5. In the settings, you will now find a number of options. Scroll down to the notification section and tap the 'help centre.'
6. When a new page appears, you'll see some options there. Select'managing your account' from the drop-down menu.
7. Choose the option to delete your account, which will result in the deletion of your Instagram account.
8. Select 'How do I remove my account' from the drop-down menu.
9. A blue highlighted line in the centre of the information indicates that the account is to be deleted. Tap on it.
10. log in to your account.
11. Select a reason for the account's deletion.
12. Instagram will ask you to type the Instagram password again.
13. Click the 'permanently delete my account' button.

How to deactivate an Instagram account:

• From a computer or mobile browser, go to instagram.com and log in to your account.

• To access your profile, click the person icon in the upper right-hand corner.
• Click On Edit Profile.

• Scroll to the bottom of the page and, in the bottom left-hand corner, click"Temporarily disable my account."

• Choose an answer from the drop-down box under "Why are you disabling your account?" on that page.
• Re-Enter Your Password.

• A "Temporarily Disable Account" button will display after you've entered your password.
